OBJECTIVES
Enable adolescents (aged 10-19 years) to
prevent early and repeated pregnancies
 
•To reduce by half the adolescent birth rate by
2022;
•To reduce by half the number of pregnancies
among adolescents aged 10-14;
•To reduce by half the proportion of repeat
pregnancies among adolescents who have
begun childbearing.
