come up with research topics that

research topic.
1. Relevance
A research topic is relevant
when it relates to the needs of
your stud’s target audience or
when it is considered important
in people’s daily lives.
2. Interest
The research topic should appeal
to the readers of your study and
encourage you to continue
pursuing it. Thus, it is important to
find out your specific area of
interest. Some areas of interests
include the arts, sciences, politics,
business, and the environment.
3. Manageability

 This means that your research


topics in the studied within your
abilities, and your research must
be doable within a specific time
limit.
4. Available Resources
Make sure that you have
available resources to utilize in
exploring your chosen topic.
There must be a sufficient
number of references about the
topic which you can consult
throughout the course of study.
In addition to these factors,
you must also avoid tackling
topics that are very recent or
highly technical. There may be
a limited number of references
for such topics and you may
lack the technical knowledge
needed to understand and the
subject matter.
