Section: Delta

Instruction: Comic Strip. Analyze the comic strip and answer the following
questions. (10pts)

1. Look at the comic strip. Do you agree with the reasoning of the person
inside the car? Why or why not?

Strongly Disagree. At first, the cyclist did not say that he did not have
a car to buy or wanted a car. The cyclist said that the environment
should use a bicycle. Secondly, the person in the car was wrong, and
he misunderstood what the cyclist said. A cyclist did not say that the
use of the vehicle was incorrect. Due to the misunderstanding, it
seems that the one who turned out wrong was the cyclist. Another
mistake of the person in the car is that he emits smoke from his
vehicle and that smoke is what the cyclist says is not adequate for
the environment, not the use or purchase of the car. Because of the
misconduct inside the automobile, there is an associated

2. If you are the biker, how would you react to the remarks of
the person inside?

If I am a biker and encounter this kind of scenario, maybe the first

thing I will do is repeat what I said. Because sometimes, others always
don't understand what we say, so they misunderstand. Secondly, I will
ask if I said something wrong, did he not understand something, or
why he reacted like that. So that I can sufficiently explain to him and
we can understand each other. If I was the biker and the person in the
car had that answer, I would laugh or be confused, because of course,
what he answered me was far away. But if he ever doesn't understand
my side and what I said, I'll just be grateful and leave instead of hitting
and having trouble.

Explanation:
Hasty Generalization is the fallacy in which others are judge, but
everyone is affected. Suppose the claim becomes over based on little
evidence or little things. The Comic I made shows Fallacy which is called
Hasty Generalization. Because it is shown that the two women who
talked and saw young people on the street having a relationship were
said and judged that young people of this generation have nothing else to
do but having a relationship. As well as claimed that all teens who engage
in early relationships are neglect by their parents based on what simple
incident they saw. The presentation of such a scenario is common to be
considered, often not only in such circumstances is the use of such a
Fallacy. But in this misconception, it is appropriate not to judge or claim
broadly based on one incident or small matter without certainty and
sufficient evidence.
