Opening Prayer:

Almighty God, the giver of all, I thank you for everything you have bestowed upon me. Thank you
Lord for your unending generosity in providing me with all my needs. All these objects, places, or
even people around which have the label “mine” - all belong to you.

Grant me the grace to see that my possessions are also yours and that these should reflect you in
my person. May I learn to use all of these properly and refrain from too much or unnecessary
attachment. With your grace, may I fully express my body, family relations, and possessions
according to how you have designed them to be. Amen.

I. Introduction

In the module for Family Planning, you studied the different methods of family planning. You
discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the methods. You chose a method to discuss
with your future spouse. You reflected on how your physical self and sexual self have impacted
your wellbeing and relationships.

In this module, you will examine the possessions that you gained in the last 18 years or so. You
will identify material possessions that shaped your current self.

II. Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, you will be able to:

1. Choose material possessions that would best describe yourself and your relationship with
others.

personal attributes and preferences, among other things. Clothes are, without a doubt, an extension of the
self. Molly Bingaman discusses the Ladybird technique, which helps women show up authentically in their
wardrobes and lives, in the following TEDx lecture. What are your main takeaways from this fascinating
discussion?
