Enhancing Values

To enhance something means to

improve its value, quality, or
attractiveness.
Mutual Problems Solving

Conflicts have meanings that are shaped by our

personal narratives. Stories—particularly those of
disagreement and strife—are often presented out
of chaotic experience, and don't always abide by
chronological order or offer information in an
organized fashion.
Physical fitness gets plenty of attention, and for good
reason. A healthy body can prevent conditions such as
heart disease and diabetes, and help you maintain
independence as you age.
Mental fitness is just as important as physical fitness, and
shouldn’t be neglected. Including mental dexterity
exercises into your daily routine can help you reap the
benefits of a sharper mind and a healthier body for years
to come.
PHYSICAL FIT
Health
Physical health problems significantly increase our risk of
developing mental health problems, and vice versa.

Safety
Make sure your equipment is appropriate to your sport or
activity and your size and age. Wear appropriate shoes for your
sport and replace them before they wear out. Wear protective
equipment during training, not just for competition and game.
Security
Physical conditioning is important for many jobs
in security, especially those like security guards or
bodyguards that are physically demanding.
Security careers in the private sector are growing
in popularity. There are always openings for
security jobs to protect either people or property.
These are two very different, but related career
paths.
MENTALLY FIT
Health
Nearly one in three people with a long-term physical
health condition also has a mental health problem,
most often depression or anxiety.

There are things you can do to give yourself the best

chance of staying physically well.
1. Exercise
2. Eatwell
3. Stop Smoking
Safety
A person's mental fitness indicates their ability to think
clearly and to make decisions efficiently and efficiently. A
parallel can be drawn with physical fitness, which relates to
the body's ability to function

Security
Mental fitness goes hand in hand with physical fitness, so
security officers should aim to develop and maintain both.
A lack of stimulation on the job can lead to unnecessary
distractions, lethargy, and eating out of boredom.
