Plant cell

Plant Cell is any type

of cell that comes from
any organism
belonging to the
Kingdom Plantae.
Parts of plant cell
- Vacuole
- Lysosome
- Cell wall
- Cell membrane
- Chloroplast
- Plasmodesmata
Plant cell

- 10 - 100 micrometers in length.

- Typically rectangular or cubic in shape.
- They are eukaryotic cells.
- Also have cell wall that provides structural support.
- They have plastids.
- Cell wall is present outside the plasma membrane.
- Vacuoles are large.
- Centrosomes are absent.
Animal cell is a type of
eukaryotic cell that lacks a cell
wall and has true membrane
bound nucleus along with other
cellular organelles.
Animal cell
- Animals are made up of many , different
types of cell. The structures we our about to
introduce to you are found in a typical cell .
- Not all animal cell contain same structure .
- This is a type of cell that lacks a cell wall
aang with other cellular organelles .
- These cells don’t have chloroplast .
- Animal cells don’t have large vacuoles .
- 10-30 micrometers in length.
- Typically round or irregular in shd has a true,
membrane bound nucleus alopape.
Parts of animal cell

- Cell membrane
- Nucleus
- Nuclear membrane
- Cytoplasm
- Endoplasmic reticulum
- Golgi apparatus
- Ribosomes
- Mitochondria
- Centrioles
Difference between Plant Cell And Animal Cell
Difference between Plant Cell And Animal Cell
Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus
enclosed within the nuclear
membrane and form large and
complex organisms. Protozoa,
fungi, plants, and animals all have
eukaryotic cells. They are classified
under the kingdom Eukaryota.
Parts Of A Eukaryotic Cell

- Membrane enclosed nucleus

- Nucleolus
- Mitochondria
- Resobemes
- Cell membrane
Eukaryotic Cell
- Eukaryotic cells have the nucleus
enclosed within the nuclear membrane.
- The cell has mitochondria.
- Flagella and cilia are the locomotory
organs in a eukaryotic cell.
- A cell wall is the outermost layer of the
eukaryotic cells.
- The cells divide by a process called
mitosis.
Prokaryotes are unicellular
organisms that lacks
organelles or any other
internal membrane bound
structures. Therefore, they do
not have a nucleus, but,
instead, generally have a single
chromosome: a piece of
circular, double stranded DNA
located in an area of the cell
Parts Of A Prokaryotic Cell

- Nucleoid
- Capsule
- Flagellum
- Cell wall
- Cell membrane
- Resobemes
Prokaryotic Cell

- Prokaryotes lack an organized nucleus

and other membrane-bound
organelles.
- Prokaryotic DNA is found in a central
part of the cell called the nucleoid.
- The cell wall of a prokaryote acts as
an extra layer of protection, helps
maintain cell shape, and prevents
dehydration.
