LANGUAGE

primarily in Thailand.

1. Street or common Thai- informal and used in talking with family
and friends
2. Elegant or Formal Thai- used in general interactions
3. Rhetorical Thai- Public Speaking
4. Religious Thai- Talking to Monks
5. Royal Thai- Used in talking or discussing about the royal family.
LANGUAGE

borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit & Mon.
Similar to Chinese and Vietnamese
