Cricket
• History:  I t originated in England
around the year 1550.

• Rules:  Batters t ake turns in pairs, one


on each side of the pitch. Aft er he
hit s, they must run to t he other end
as many times as they want and   it
is played with eleven  players on each
team.

• Advantages:  A bet ter aim is generated


in the hand and the sight is improved.

Running
• History: Dates back to 776 BC. C.
in Greece but it is not known
exactly where it originates.

• Rules: It must be run on a straight,


flat track 100 meters long, with no
more than eight lanes.

• Advantages: Improves cholesterol
levels, improves flexibility and
increases resistance.
FENCES JUMP

• History: Begins to appear at the


beginning of early 19th century.

• Rules: They are 400-meter races


where each hurdle is separated
by 35 meters from each other,
when an athlete hits one of
these, he will be penalized.

• Advantages: You can gain


endurance, strength and speed.

WATERPOLO
• History: It  emerged at the end of the
19th century in England and Scotland.

• Rules: Players can only catch the ball


with one hand, no one can lean on the
edges of the pool when playing and it
is played with  seven players counting
the goalkeeper with another six
changes.

• Advantages: Increases
cardiopulmonary endurance,reduces
the risk of heart disease and develops
physical -psychic abilities.
WINDSURF
• History: Originates from the 30s of the 20th

of placing a sail on top of his surfboard.

• Rules: The boater who enters the water has


priority over the one who comes towards

• Advantages: Improves the cardiac and


respiratory system and the balance.
SWIMMING
• History:  The first indications of
swimming are from the year 4,500 a. C.
in the "cave of swimmers", located near
Libya, southwest of Egypt.

• Rules:  Always take the correct starting


position, comply with the corresponding
meters designated in the competition,
the movements of the arms must be
simultaneous following a horizontal
plane and many others.

• Advantages: D evelop coordination,


prevents,  treats injuries and  reduces
stress.

• History:  Karate has its origin during
the sixteenth century in the native
martial techniques of the Ryukyu
Islands.

justice.

Rugby
• History: It  arises in the mid-nineteenth
century, as a sport derived from the so-
called crowd football (mob football) that
was practiced without fixed rules.

• Rules: No interruptions expected, the ball


can only be advanced by carrying or
kicking it forward and a.ny player on the
field of play can advance with the ball.

• Advantages:  Increases strength and


agility,  encourages discipline and work on
team spirit.
Swordmanship
• History: Emerged four centuries
before the Olympic Games of ancient
Greece.

• Rules: Only blows or touches to the


torso, neck, groin and back are valid
and It is forbidden during the fight to
turn your back on the opponent.

• Advantages:  You gain strength,


endurance and may other things.
