 Adverse air quality can kill many organisms including
humans.
 Ozone pollution can cause diseases, throat
inflammation, chest pain, and congestion.
 Water pollution causes approximately 14000 deaths
per day, mostly due to contamination of drinking
water by untreated sewage in developing countries.
 Oil spills can cause skin irritations and rashes.
How to Stop Pollution?
  At home you can conserve energy by
turning off appliances and lights when
you leave the room.
 You can recycle paper, plastic, glass
bottles, cardboard, and aluminum cans.
 You can also replace old wood stoves.
 Wash clothes with warm water instead
of hot water.
  You can also buy Energy Star
appliances.
