OBJECTIVITY This consideration has much to do with the content's objectivity. It's important to note that writers have biases and prejudices, which can influence the content. • Is the information presented with a particular bias? • Does site advertising conflict with the content? • Is any information purposely omitted? USABILITY This factor refers to user friendliness and how easily the site allows you to retrieve information. • Is it easy to find, read, and use the information? • Is the information logically and clearly organized? • Are navigation buttons consistent? APPROPRIATENESS This consideration has much to do with the content's consistency with the site's ultimate goal. People are also frustrated by the vast amount of knowledge available, making it difficult to distinguish between what is real and what is not. Worse, the unverified information is being spread on social media, compounding the issue. As a general rule, be cautious about what you post or share online, especially on social media.
