professions demand to give more
time and effort towards it to your

options because some jobs may
force you to live in a specific area
to be able to go to work and this
can really discourage potential
employees.

• Money plays a key role in career
decisions especially adolescents from
lower economic backgrounds. 
• So even if a student has the
intelligence to get into a prestigious
school if he/she cannot get a full
scholarship he/she may have to think of
something else.
CULTURAL FACTORS
• Culture refers to the community of people live in, and the
values that they hold.
• Most Filipinos are more likely to choose a career based on
their family's wishes rather than their own interests.
