September 18 through the first national meeting of government
that the day september 18, 1818 was held in order to commemorate
the formation of chile as an independet national state of the
spanish Crown that originated.

This holiday the chileans celebrate then in some cases the
foreigners who are in this country celebrate this day as if the were
from chile as also the chileans who are out of his country celebrate
equally this day.
 How do people celebrate ?
Celebrations are roasted, typical drinks such as chicha
and the earthquake, typical food like empanadas
kebabs,corn cakes, games like spin, the greasy pole,
pull rope and raise kites also with the traditional
dance.
