How can we prevent pollution ?
The ditch which lies here has been dug up but has not been covered with
slabs( placas de concreto). As monsoon ( rain period,wet season)comes, it
gets filled up with mud and has not been cleaned for years.
As a result of which, many residents in the vicinity takes it as an advantage
and start dumping garbage in it.
Then the garbage blocks the flow of water and the issue of overflowing
(transbordamento) sewage (esgoto) arises.
