intelligent use of lights in our environment. How it works Under the guidance of a team leader, each member will take part in creating transient lighting designs by using high powered torches, battery powered LED lights, luminous dot lights and an array of gels and filters.
Instructed to be in a specific position and at a given distance
from their target, the teams will simultaneously light up various aspects of the architecture on cue at a specified time, creating a dramatic spectacle.
The installation will be photographed,
the lighting turned off and then the team will move on. The History of the Movement

on "bad lighting" and "wasteful use of light“. The movement has illuminated buildings across Europe to show how a more artistic use of light can breathe new life into cities.

– Guerrillas (Participants) will be divided in multiple teams and briefed about each site and how we shall light it. – Bring at least 2 torches of your choice for the event. – We test the lights for a short time. (15-20 minutes) – On a specified time or callout – all lights are turned on and the effect is documented. Bring along your friends and cameras! – Pictures are shared and next date is announced via email or SMS. – DO NOT FORGET TO HAVE FUN! Spread the word.
