Also known as Central Reservation System .
It is a computerized system to store and retrieve
information.
It conducts transaction related to air travel, hotels,
car rental.
It is originally designed and operated by Airline.
A CRS is the backend office system of the booking
empire.

Types of CDS
1. Affiliated Reservation System
In this system , all the properties are interconnected and
works for each other, they attract and promote their business on
mutual basis, put all the efforts to promote the business to another
hotel of the same chain.
