Pantukan is a 1st class municipality of Davao de Oro Province 
in Region 11, Philippines

It was classified as a first-class

municipality based on income as
of December 31, 2002. Pantukan
envisions to become economically,
environmentally, socially and
politically stable local government
unit; God-fearing society working
harmoniously towards achieving a
better quality of life.
 Location – Eastern Mindanao in Southern Philippines

Pantukan is located 166 kilometers northeast of Davao City, the biggest

city and commercial center of Mindanao Island

Neighboring Towns – Maragusan (north), Banaybanay in Davao Oriental

Province (Southeast), Mabini (northwest)

 Economy of Pantukan
Pantukan is an agricultural town where rice, corn, and coconut are the main products. Mining is also an important
industry especially in Barangay Kingking where gold and copper are mined. Gold deposits in Barangay Kingking
alone is estimated to be at 10.3 million ounces with copper deposits of 5.4 billion pounds. Nationwide
Development Corporation (Nadecor) holds the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) for the Kingking
mine site.
