BI Application Upgrade
Project Description:
In this project, BI 11g application will be upgraded from 10.1 to 10.2.
Project Objectives:
• This is a prerequisite before major upgrade of BI 11g application to Oracle Analytic server, database to 19c and OS to
Oracle Linux 7.
• 10.1 application support has been ended, for application support compliance, need to upgrade BI application.
• Oracle Linux 6 support has been ended. This upgrade is a prerequisite for upgrading OS to Oracle Linux 7, which will
save extended support fee cost of approx. **** PKR annually till June 2024.
• BI application upgrade will provide bug fixes which will leverage the application performance by minimizing memory
utilization, increasing efficiency of application for end users.
• It will help us to align our Oracle Business Intelligence application environment with the future road map of Oracle.

• Any unforeseen technical issues which may lead to extended project timelines.
