students sacrifice?

Introduction

 Sleep deprivation is a major issue.


 Time is tight
 Students face different trade-offs.
 We calculated the impact of their behaviors upon sleep
schedule.
The main purpose of this introduced
econometrics model is to find out the Work Smoking
relationship between students’ sleep
and other variables.

There are performed numerous pieces of research
concerning this significant issue.

In 2017 researchers from the Uludag university faculty of


health sciences gave insight into the immense impact of these
variables upon sleep.
Methodology
 We used a multiple linear regression model and the OLS method
 Explanatory variables:
GPA
Hours spent on transportation daily
Weekly working hours
Daily coffee consumption in cups
Two dummy variables: workout and smoking. (1 work-out, 0
otherwise. 1 smoker, 0 otherwise)
 The sample size is 141, hence the degree of freedom is 134.

 There were some limitations: health, and time spent on leisure.


Might have resulted in high multicollinearity, hard interpretation, poor and over-
complex model.
