Question:

What are the qualities of a

successful individual or
entrepreneur?
1. Be achievement oriented. Think
of what you really want to
accomplish. When you aim for
something, and want it done then it
should be done well. Many
successful professionals and
entrepreneurs set standards in their
business or activities to produce
high-quality product or services.
2. Have self-confidence. For you to
become good at the things you are
doing, think that you can do things
better but also be realistic. Engage in
activities which you can do better
with an achievable realistic goal or
objective. Example: Accept repair
jobs with confidence that you can
finish it on time and of quality
3. Be task oriented. Just like the successful
professionals and business owners their
objectives are on how things should be done,
and not so much on who will do the task for
them. They are more work-oriented,
hardworking and they persevere to make
things done better. Do not rely too much on
people who works for you. For instance,
when you do the computer repair jobs do not
ask on someone to do it for you especially if
your customers or clients are meticulous to
the outcome of the services rendered.
4. Open to feedbacks. Successful
practitioners/professionals and
entrepreneurs welcomes feedbacks
to know how they are doing with
their work, whether it is well-done or
poorly done. Being open to feed
backing can result to a better client
or customer relationship.
5. Be creative. Being creative is about seeing
things in a different prospective or thinking
beyond what others can see. As a would-be
computer system servicing practitioner, you
can become successful if you will look for
creative opportunity other than rendering
service. You may think of any other things to
offer for your clients or customers. Perhaps
you may offer some things to sell like
computer paraphernalia, computer parts,
computer supplies, etc.
6. Reasonable risk taker- In any endeavor
there is a risk to take, but as a would-be
entrepreneur and computer systems
servicing practitioner. You must consider the
“calculated risks” meaning you should not
engage in activities that you do not know or
that you are not familiar. For instance, when
you diagnose computers focus first with the
problem found and work on possible remedy
or repair. Do not complicate the risk when
diagnosing and troubleshooting computer
problems.
7. Accept full responsibility for actions
and decisions. Just like a successful
professional and entrepreneur, you must
choose to make your own decisions and
bear the consequences brought by your
own judgement. If you will fail, you only
blame yourself, but if your decisions and
judgement will become successful, enjoy
all the glory that goes with your good
decisions.
