The Hungry Mouse

Good morning, everyone. My name is Hendrique Jericho Talan Koleh.

I am from Successful Preschool SK Tatau. Today, I would like to tell

you a story entitled “The Hungry Mouse”.

There lived a mouse that was hungry for many days. He could

not find any food at all. He looked here and there, but still didn’t

found any food at last. Hence, he grew thin. One day, the mouse

found a basket with full of corns. There was a small hole in the

basket. He went inside and began to eat the corn greedily. As he

was very hungry, he went on eating and eating. Now, he had grown

very fat.

After the meal, the mouse tried to come out from the basket,

but he could not. Now, he was too fat to pass through the hole. He

said, ”How shall I come out?” Just then a rat came along, and he

heard the mouse. The rat said, ”Mouse, if you want to come out of

the basket, you must wait till you have grown as thin were when you

went in.” The mouse was very regret for what he done before.

The moral value of the story is we should not be greedy.
