What are the powers of 10?
The powers of 10 are 1, 10, 100, 1000,
10000, etc. are all powers of 10
These numbers can be written using
components.
EXAMPLES:
1 = 100
 10 = 101
 100 = 102
 1000 = 103
 10000 = 104

 The Fractions 1/10 , 1/100 , 1/1000 , 1/10000, etc.

- In decimal form, they can be written 0.1, 0.01, 0.001,
0.0001, etc.
 Dividing is just as easy.
 The decimal place simply moves to the left instead of the right.
 EXAMPLES
35.759 ÷ 100 = 0.35759
761.81 ÷ 102 = 7.6181
978.10 ÷ 1000 = 0.97810
87.209 ÷ 108 = 0.00000087209
 To divide decimals by 0.1,0.01, or 0.001 we just

 Move the decimal point in the dividend to the as there are many decimal places in the divisor
 Prefix zero/zeroes before the decimal point if needed

 EXAMPLES:
 721.07 ÷ 0.1= 7210.7
 891.81 ÷ 0.01 = 89181
 641.90 ÷ 0.001 = 641900
 2378.10 ÷ 0.0001 = 23781000
