PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
1. The present continuous tense is used to express a
continued or ongoing action at present time. it expresses
an action which is in progress at the time of speaking.

2. In the present tense continuous tense we use


auxiliary verb or to be (am/is/are)+ the verb’s base form or verb1
+ ing (present participle)

3. We use the present continuous tense to talk about the present

4. We use the present continuous tense to talk about


the future for something which has been arranged or planned
PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

(+) SUBJECT + BE (AM/IS/ARE) + VERB (-ING) + ….


ARI IS CLEANING THE WHITEBOARD
NOW, THEY ARE LISTENING TO MUSIC

(-) SUBJECT + BE (AM/IS/ARE) + NOT + VERB (-ING) +


HE IS NOT KICKING THE BALL
SHE IS NOT BUYING A NEW CAR AT THE MOMENT
