FIRST STEP :
1. LEAD THE GUEST
‘Ma’am/Sir, this
way please’

1.Lead the guest towards the table while maintaining eye contact
throughout, keep smiling and escort the guest to the table .Stretch
hand and show the way walking in front of the guest
‘Will this table be all
right for you,
Sir/Ma’am?’

SECOND STEP :
2. HELP THE GUEST WHILE SEATING
2. In a courteous manner, pull the chair so that there would be
enough space for the guest to enter. Stand behind the chair, push
with two hands on the chair shoulder and keep the right toe at the
base of the chair so the guest can seat comfortably.

THIRD STEP :

5. Serve water at the right side of the guest. While serving water,
the posture of the service staff should be such that his right foot is
in front to avoid showing back to the guest .
