I. Name of the project : String beans Production
II. Project Proponent: Johnil S. Nabat
III. Project Location: Bacan Banga Aklan
IV. Project Description
The project string beans production will be
conducted at Barangay Bacan,Banga Aklan.
The land area is 30 sq. meter which is measured
30 meter long and 1 meter wide.

The Land are will be planted by hybrid variety

produced by the production of this string beans
will be conducted from month of December to March.

The land area is surrounded by the rice field and many

trees. this area had been planted Eggplants Before .
The land area for string beans production I
exposed to sunlight
For the growth of the plant.
The soil texture is clay loam . It is suited
for crop production and it is also provided
with adequate water supply.

A. Management: The String beans production will be manage by my own
and also by help of my Family friend and with the
guide of my professor.

VIII. Rationale

Green beans, also known as string beans, or snap

beans in the northeastern and western United States,
are the unripe fruit and protective pods of
various cultivars of the common bean.
 IX. Objcetives

General Objectives :
1.Enhance the knowledge ,skills and attitudes in
managing micro –project in string beans.

Specific Objectives

1. To ensure the knowlegde and skills in string beans production

of a student entrepreneur.

2. To give an extra jod to the Family member.

3. To have family income at least Php. 300.00/ harvest.

X.Description of project activities

Land preparation
The land area will be cleaned by
removing the weeds and the stones in the
area using shovel and bolo.

Lay-outing
It will be done after land preparation ;the
area will be measure with the use meter
stick ,and straw lace.
Cultirating
The soil of the area will be cultivated
or pulverized for planting to be easy.
 Planting
In planting 2 to 3 seeds of string beans
will be plant it will be done early in the
morning.

Watering
Watering will be done when
there is unavailability of
the rain water and to
moisture the soil.

Weeding
Weeding will be done when there is a weed the
surrounding in the plant that can affect the
growth of the plant and competes in terms of
nutrients.
 Trellising

String beans will be provided with trellis

when the plant starts to grow.

Fertilizer application
In the fertilizer application ,area 46-0-0
will be applied.

Pruning
It will be done with the use of scissor in
removing the affect leaves of the plants
to prevent the spreading of diseases to
the other plants.
Harvesting
String beans will harvested
had ponds are tender

Harvesting will be done

early in the morning to
prevent the exposure to the
head of the sunlight

Marketing
String beans will be weight sold
per kilogram to the buyer.
