Monus LLC was founded in 1993, and has been present successfully at the market of
Serbia for two decades. Remarkable success of FAST brand has led to the largest
Greenfield Investment in Serbia in 2005, when the production plant was built and
opened

The production plant is equipped with modern machinery, with total capacity of about
13,200 metric tons of cigarettes per year
Production and packaging lines are GD – Italy

Total of 6 lines: 3 x king size, 1 x 100s, 1 x slims, 1 x octagonal

Each line speed is 500 packs/min. The lines are fully automated, equipped with online
control and appropriate software

In January 2008, we have implemented QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 certified by
SGS – Switzerland

Laboratory for tobacco and tobacco products was certified in accordance with ISO/IEC
17 025 and accredited by the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS)

The laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment for tobacco analysis and
automated machine for the analysis of cigarette smoke (RM 200 Borgwaldt)
In addition to the laboratory for chemical analysis, we have a laboratory equipped with
the most advanced equipment for receipt control of all types of raw materials

Process Control Department has equipment for the control of parameters of

cigarettes and filter rods (QTM –Cerulean)

Basic information:
Area production part: 12 000 m2
Warehouse of tobacco: 1 830 m2
Warehouse of raw materials: 1 830 m2
Warehouse for finished goods 3 660 m2

The primary production facility is equipped with the lines for the preparation
of tobacco and tobacco expansion ribs

- Line capacity for the preparation of tobacco is 4 tones per hour

- Line capacity for expansion of tobacco ribs is 1.2 tones per hour

Whole equipment in the primary production facility is Comas from Italy,

except slicer for tobacco and tobacco rib whic is Dickinson Legg from
England. All devices are equipped with the regulation & control of the
process

Secondary production facility is equipped with two production lines for filter
rods (BMI - Polaris, The Netherlands), and 7 lines for production and
packaging of cigarettes

Lines for production of the filter rods have a speed of 500 pieces per minute
and produce only acetate filters with different characteristics and dimensions
for the HP slims and regular cigarettes
