In this video, we are going to see how to create Goals
On the landing page, click on
Performance Management module
Click on “Create Goals”
Using this option, you can create new goals
This option allows you to take goals from history records
This option allows you to pick
up goals from the Goal Bank
Enter name of the goal
Enter weightage for the goal
• Breakthrough Goals are radically new goals which are not
based on anything existing.
• Business As Usual goals are regular or routine activities of the
role holder, that are part of his job description.
• Improvement Goals focuses on improving existing processes.
• Roll Over Goal are goals that run for more than a financial year.
Start Date & Target Date are start and end date of the goal period
• Customer goals are related to customer service, satisfaction
score, customer relationships, market share, customer
satisfaction.
• Financial goals are related to profitability, revenue/sales growth,
cash flow, risk incurred, cost controls.
• Learning and growth are goals related to employee satisfaction,
training and development, succession planning, innovation, R&D.
• Internal process are goals related to productivity, quality, cost,
delivery, safety, morale, time.
Select appropriate metrics according to the goal
Measurable is to indicate whether the Goal is
measurable or not
If Measurable the measurable unit will have to be
specified here
Each goal need periodical review so that the
employee can track progress of the goal
The frequency can be set as Fortnightly, Monthly,
Quarterly, Half Yearly or Annual
Detailed description of the goal
can be entered here
Click here to add Execution steps
Enter appropriate milestone measures,
completion date and description
Execution Steps can be cascaded to the team by selecting
members at ‘Assign To’ field

Click here to add Goal specific competency
Goal Specific Competency section allows you to add competencies,
which will help you to achieve the goal

Click here to add Training
This section allows you to request for specific training required
which will help you to achieve your goals

Click here to add Coaching and
mentoring
This section allows you to request for specific mentoring
required which will help you to achieve your goals
Click here to save your Coaching and mentoring details
This section allows you to provide your inputs with regard to your on the job
assignments / exercises and projects
Click here to save your goals as draft
You can save as many goals as you want, and submit only specific goals
by selecting individual goals
