CALLED AS PARTNERS
IN CHRIST’S SERVICE
Called as partners in Christ’s service
called to ministries of grace,
We respond with deep commitment
fresh new lines of faith to trace,
May we learn the art of sharing, side by
side and friend with friend,
Equal partners in our caring to fulfill
God’s chosen end.
Christ’s example, Christ’s in spring,
Christ’s clear call to work and worth,
Let us follow, never faltering,
reconciling folk on earth.
Men and women, richer, poorer all
God’s people, young and old,
Blending human skills together
gracious gifts from God unfold.
Thus new partners for Christ’s mission,
in a small or global sense,
Help us bear each other’s burden,
breaking down each wall or fence.
Words of comfort, words of vision, words
of challenge, said with care,
Bring new power and strength for action,
make us colleagues, free and fair.
So God grant us for tomorrow ways to order
human life
That surround each person’s sorrows with a
calm that conquers strife.
Make us partners in our living, our
compassion to increase
Messengers of faith, thus giving hope and
confidence and peace.
Celebrant
Blessed be God, Father, Son and
Holy Spirit.
People
And blesses be his kingdom
now and forever. Amen
or
Celebrant
Alleluia. Christ is risen.
People
The Lord is risen
indeed. Alleluia.
Almighty God, to you all hearts are
open, All desires known, and from
you no secret are hid: Purify our
hearts by the inspiration of your
Holy Spirit, That we may perfectly
love you and worthily magnify
your holy name; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.
TE DEUM LAUDAMUS
You are God: we praise you;
You are the Lord: we acclaim you;
You are the eternal Father:
All creation worships you.
To you all angels, all the powers of heaven,
Cherubim and Seraphim, sing in endless
praise:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
The glorious company of apostles praise
you.
The noble fellowship of prophets praise you.
The white robed army of martyrs praise
you.
Throughout the world the Holy Church
acclaims you;
Father, of Majesty unbounded, your
true and only Son,
worthy of all worship, and the Holy
Spirit, advocate and guide.
You, Christ, are the king of glory, the
eternal Son of the Father.
When you became man to set us free you did
not shun the Virgin’s womb. You overcame
the sting of death and opened the kingdom of
heaven to all believers. You are seated at
God’s right hand in glory. We believe that
you will come and be our judge.
Come then, Lord, and help your people,
bought with the price of your own blood, and
bring us with your saints to glory everlasting!
Celebrant:
The Lord be with you
People:
And also with you
Celebrant:
Let us Pray
6th Sunday after Epiphany - C
O God, the strength of all who put their trust in
you: Mercifully accept our prayers; and because
in our weakness we can do nothing good without
you, give us the help of your grace, that in keeping
your commandments we may please you both in
will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever. Amen
For Fruitful Seasons
Almighty God, Lord of heaven and earth: We
humbly pray that your gracious providence may
give and preserve to our use the harvests of the land
and of the seas, and may proper all who labor to
gather them, that we, who are constantly receiving
good things from your hand, may always give you
thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for
ever and ever. Amen.
For Commerce and Industry
Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ in his early
life shared our toil and hallowed our labor: Be
present with your people where they work; make
those who carry on the industries and commerce
of this land responsive to your will; and give to us
all a pride in what we do, and just return for our
labor; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
The Celebrant says:
Blessed are you, Lord our God,
King of the universe: You love
your people, and have given
us the words of eternal life.
People:
O Lord, the God of our
salvation: Your word is the
light of our lives, and the
lantern of our feet. Teach us
and lead us with the light of
your eternal word.

MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF
YOUR PEACE
Make me a channel of your peace;
where there is hatred let me bring
your love;
where there is injury your pardon
Lord,
and where there’s doubt true faith
in you.
Make me a channel of your peace;
Where there’s despair in life let
me bring hope,
Where there is darkness only
light,
And where there’s sadness, ever
joy.
Oh, Master grant that I may never
seek
So much to be consoled as to
console,
To be understood as to be
understand to be loved as to love
with all my soul.
Make me a channel of your peace;
it is in pardoning that we are
pardoned,
in giving to all men that we receive
and in dying that we’re born to
eternal life.

THE HOLY GOSPEL

CHORUS:
Jesus lives again, earth can breathe
again, pass the word around: loaves
abound!
Christ is able to make us one;
At the table he sets the tone,
Teaching people to live to bless,
Love in word and indeed express.
CHORUS:
Jesus lives again, earth can breathe
again, pass the word around: loaves
abound!
Jesus calls us in, sends us out,
bearing fruit in a world of doubt,
Gives us love to tell, bread to share,
God (Immanuel) everywhere!
CHORUS:
Jesus lives again, earth can breathe
again, pass the word around: loaves
abound!

FOR THE FRUIT OF ALL
CREATION
For the fruit of all creation, thanks be
to God;
For good gifts to ev’ry nation, thanks
be to God;
For the plowing, sowing, reaping, silent
growth while we are sleeping
Future needs in earth’s safe keeping,
thanks be to God.
In the just reward of labor, God’s will
be done;
In the help we give our neighbor, God’s
will be done;
In our worldwide task of caring for the
hungry and despairing,
In the harvests we are sharing, God’s
will be done.
For the harvest of the spirit, thanks be to
God;
For the good we all inherit, thanks be to
God;
For the wonders that astound us for the
truths that still confound us,
Most of all, that love has found us, thanks be
to God.

Preface OF THE Lord’s Day 1

Hindi Ko Maisip
Hindi ko maisip, kay laking hiwaga,
Kay laking paglingap
pagpapakasakit.
Sala naming tao nang iyong akuin,
Walang hangganan Diyos,
ang ‘yong pag-ibig. (ang pag-ibig)
Ang lingkod mo’y ‘di man dapat
na sa Iyo’y tumanggap,
Ang biyaya sa aki’y gawad na sa
iyo’y tatanggap,
Ang biyaya sa aki’y gawad na sa
iyo’y tatanggap.
Nang aking malasap alak at tinapay,
Aking kagalakan ay walang
mapagsidlan.
‘Di kinakailangang akin pang wariin,
Kung bakit ang ligaya ko’y walang
patid.
Sana’y sa palisan sa iyong tahanan,
Aming manga puso ay iyong
lukuban.
Na maging dambana ng ‘yong
kabutihan,
Maging huwarang pagmamahalan.

Sa Iisang Hapag
Sa iisang hapag ating itatag ang
pagkakaisa;
Ang sisidlang basag ating ilapag sa
dulang ng Ama.
Pagsaluhan natin ang luksa; at damhin
ang sugat ng bansa;
At doon, do’n natin ipunla, Butil ng
diwang mapagpalaya.
Sa iisang hapag ating itatag,
ibangon, itindig
Sa dulang ng katotohanan, sa
sahig ng katarungan.
Doon do’n natin ipagdiwang,
kapayapaa’t pag-ibig.
Eternal God, heavenly Father,
we thank you because you have accepted
us as living members of the Body of your
Son Jesus Christ, and have nourished us
with the Sacrament of his victorious life.
May we be bread broken and given for
the world, may your love in us heal the
wounds we have made, may your words
on our lips speak to all people.
Send us with vision and courage
to love and serve your son Jesus
Christ in his brethren so will your
Name be praised and glorified,
now and in time to come, until all
be fulfilled in your kingdom.
Amen.
Almighty and eternal God
now that we have partaken of the
banquet you have prepared for us in
the world to come, may we all one day
share in the life of your heavenly city,
through Jesus Christ your Son, our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you, in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world
without end. Amen.
Epiphany Blessing
May Almighty God, who led the wise men by a
star to find the Christ, the Light from the Light,
lead you also in your pilgrimage to find the
Lord. Amen.
