 CLIMATE OF LIMA

Lima climate is subtropical. A type of climate with its own peculiarities given its
geographical location.
These factors give Lima's climate a very humid, cool and desert character at
the same time.
Temperatures in Lima are warm, without the excessive heat of tropical areas.
The average annual temperature is 19ºC. The maximums usually occur during
the month of January and rarely exceed 30ºC.
The minimums occur during the winter months (June - September) and are
usually around 12ºC. As historical data, 8ºC is the lowest temperature
recorded in Lima.
