GLOBAL WARMING

¿WHAT IS GLOBAL
WARMING?
Global warming is constituted by the absorption of solar
energy by the earth. When the earth warms up, it releases
heat into the atmosphere in the form of infrared rays.
However, part of this heat is sent back to the earth's surface
and the consequence is its overheating.
CAUSES OF GLOBAL
WARMING
The main cause of global warming is the increase in
greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide, methane
and nitrogen oxides.
burning of fossil fuels
Deforestation
Excessive use of fertilizers
CONSEQUENCES OF GLOBAL WARMING
extreme weather events
extinction of animals
Rising sea levels
