SOCIAL

Learning together promotes cohesion, belongingness,


respect for diversity.

Inclusive schools create inclusive societies.

ACADEMIC

Inclusive teachers learn how to differentiate their


instructions to accommodate diverse needs of students.

Differentiation in instruction has been proven effective in


improving students’ learning outcomes.

No research shows that children learn better in segregated


settings/schools compared to mainstream schools.

ECONOMIC

Creating two different systems of education – one


system for mainstream education and other one
for special schools – is proven to be expensive.

Investing in mainstream schools in terms of


preparing them for inclusive education is more
cost-effective and efficient.
