The way to deduce that someone is dehydrated is through a mass analysis of the person
or fluids, such as blood or urine.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

Analyze the effects of hydration on the concentration capacity of a human being, using a
measuring instrument made in the LabView environment and an electroencephalography
equipment.

 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 Identify the signals and brain activity on a user with dehydration.

 Develop a suitable measuring instrument to observe the deficiency of cognitive
mental processes.

 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 Compare the mental concentration levels of people in different states of hydration.

 Confirm the relationship between adequate hydration and good cognitive
performance.

 JUSTIFICATION
The investigation will focus on hydration levels and how they significantly affect cognitive
performance capacity, the set of mental processes involved in intelligence and thought
suffer alterations as a result of dehydration.

 JUSTIFICATION

Develop a detection system on the effects of hydration levels on cognitive performance, the
psychic consequences of it can be observed.

LIMITATIONS

 Keep track of the hydration of the person to be analyzed.

 Availability of people subject to testing at the time of measurements.
 Availability of secondary equipment at all times, which is essential for the project (eg power supplies,
oscilloscopes, etc.)

 PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

 Interference of external signals when taking measurements or while calibrating the equipment.
 Bad performance of the equipment due to injuries that it could have.
