Culture has life and is ever


changing
Culture changes depending on
the physical and environmental
situation and state.
Culture creates and recreates
itself to remain relevant

It can be called culture if it is
practice and recognize by a large
number of people
Despite the shared culture, it
doesn’t mean that it is all the way
accepted, there are varying views of
about culture and how it should be
practiced

It may be challenge by
the changing times

Learned and Acquired

Culture is not instinctive. It is


not transmitted genetically. It
is acquired by each person
through the senses and from
experience. Each individual
must learn from himself. No
one is born equipped with a
particular language, or
knowledge of religious beliefs.
Patterned Social Interactions

Culture operates or works in a


way that it dictates and defines
human behaviors
Although patterned and
repetitive, we can always choose
to follow or disobey parts of our
culture
Transmitted through Enculturation

Culture is transmitted to and


among members of a social
group. It is usually passed to the
younger generations or new
members of the society
In can be passed from one
individual to another or from
society to another
Culture Requires Language and
other forms of Communication.

To learn and transmit


culture we need
language as medium
to communicate with
other
