PROTOCOL IN THE CONDUCT


OF LECTURE DEMONSTRATION
AND RETURN
DEMONSTRATION DURING
COVID-19 PANDEMIC
A. LECTURE
DEMONSTRATION
1. There are two (2) rooms to be used for the lecture demonstration of
the students. These are Nursing Lecture Room at CB 214B and CB
217.
2. The capacity of CB 214B is 18 while the CB 217 is 12 with a
distance of 1.5 meter in between students.
3. Students attending limited face-to-face classes are required to wear
the nursing uniform.

4. Students will follow the markings on the floor to direct one-way
foot traffic.
5. A sanitizing agent or alcohol is available near the entrance of the
room.
6. During lecture, the instructor will be teaching behind a
transparent/clear partition.

8. Students will bring their own food, snacks, and water for they will
not be allowed to go out of the campus during break time.
9. Disinfection of the room will follow after the lecture using UV
lights and lamps/disinfectant spray.

B. RETURN
DEMONSTRATION
1. There are three (3) rooms to be used for the return demonstration of the
students. These are the two (2) skills laboratory at CB 211 and CB 212, and
one (1) virtual laboratory at CB 214A.
2. Students will follow the markings on the floor to direct one-way foot
traffic.
3. Physical distancing will be maintained at all times with a distance of 1.5
meters. Only two (2) clinical instructors and two (2) students will be allowed
inside the room.

DEMONSTRATION
4. Students are required to wear a face mask and face shield at all times
while they are inside the campus. A sanitizing agent like alcohol is available
outside the room. The laboratory gown should be worn by the students inside
the room while performing the procedure.
5. The instructor will be teaching behind a transparent/clear partition.

B. RETURN
DEMONSTRATION
6. After all the procedures being performed by the students, the clinical
instructor together with the student assistant will sanitize all the
materials/equipment used in the procedure in preparation for the next user.
7. Disinfection of the room will follow using UV lights and
lamps/disinfectant spray. 
8. Protocols set by the University before the students enter the campus will
also be followed.
