What is the definition of PPP?

 PPP (Presentation, Practice and Production) is a


variation of Audiolingualism that grew out of
structural-situational teaching whose main
departure from Audiolinguism was to place the
language in clear situational context.
 PPPcan be applied to teach about grammar,
vocabulary and pronunciation.
What are the goals of PPP?

Students are able to pronounce words

What are the sequences of PPP Lesson?

 Presentation
The teacher shows a picture or a slideshow to the students and ask them
about the context of the picture
 Practice
The students will be given an activity that gives them plenty of opportunities
to practice the new aspect of language
 Production
The students will use the language in context or in an activity set up by
teacher who will be giving minimal assistance
