MOTIVATION OF THE RESEARCHER

• To increase the involvement of Senior High


School students to physical activities and
improve their academic performance.
RESEARCH GAP
• Evidence suggests that increasing physical
activity and physical fitness may improve
academic performance and physical education
class and physical activity in the classroom may
also facilitate academic performance.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
• The researcher aims to identify the involvement
of Senior High School students in physical
activities and its effect to their academic
performance. The researcher seeks to answer the
following specific questions;

1. What are the physical activities performed by the Senior
High School students?
2. How does these physical activities affect their academic
performance?
3. Based on the result of the study, what plan of action
may be recommended?
RESEARCH DESIGN

• A quantitative method will be used to identify


studies meeting inclusion criteria that will
investigate the relationship between physical
activity or physical fitness and cognitive
performance or academic achievement.
RESPONDENTS / PARTICIPANTS

• The respondents of the study will be 50


Grade 11 and 50 Grade 12 Senior High
School Students in One Integrated School in
Pampanga.
INSTRUMENT

• The researcher will be utilizing survey


questionnaire. A standard data extraction
template will be used to extract the data.

MOTIVATION OF THE RESEARCHER

• This researcher ought to discover the sports


activities participated by the students, to know the
level of students’ involvement in different sports
activities, and to propose an action plan to
strengthen students’ involvement in sports
competition.
RESEARCH GAP
• Most of the students became sedentary during
the pandemic. That is why the researcher
ought to identify the sports activities in which
the respondents are involved and the level of
involvement in the said sport activities.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
• The researcher generally aims to determine the
involvement of the students in different sports
activities in Activities Among Senior High School
Students in One Integrated School in Pampanga.
The researcher seeks to answer the following
specific questions;

2.What is the level of students’ involvement in
different sports activities?
3.Based on the result, what sports development
program may be recommended?
RESEARCH DESIGN

• The researcher will using the descriptive method of


research as it aims to describe the status of sports
activities participated by the students with respect
to the personal qualities and instructional
competencies as assessed by the physical education
students.

• The respondents of the study will be 50


Grade 11 and 50 Grade 12 Senior High
School Students in one Integrated School in
Pampanga.
INSTRUMENT

• The researcher will be utilizing survey


questionnaire which has two parts. Part I deals
in with the sports activities in which the
respondents are involved. Part II deals with the
level of involvement in the said sport activities.

• The Contributions of Physical Activity and


fitness to the Optimal Health and Wellness
among eleventh graders
MOTIVATION OF THE RESEARCHER

• The need of improving the physical activity


engagement of students to optimize their
health and wellness.
RESEARCH GAP
• Physical inactivity is a problem which contributes
to the burden of unnecessary illness. Integration
of physical activity into one’s lifestyle which
offers additional opportunities for sedentary
individuals to improve their health through
participation in physical activities.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
• The general statement of the problem of this
study is to determine the contributions of physical
activity and fitness of grade 11 students to
optimal health and wellness. The researcher seeks
to answer the following specific questions;

RESEARCH DESIGN

• This study will apply Mixed Method


Research Design
RESPONDENTS / PARTICIPANTS

• The participants will be Grade 11 students in


one Integrated School in Pampanga.
INSTRUMENT

• The researcher will act as the principal


instrument of the study while survey
questionnaire will be utilized to obtain
quantitative data from the respondents.
