constituents.
We addressed the gaps that we identified and dole out justifiable and comprehensive programs,
projects and activities to break the cycle that hampered the progress of our barangay.

HISTORY
Long time ago, there was a tree called Tuganghin that had been flourished almost
everywhere and significantly grew in a creek called TAGANGHIN CREEK. A fruit
bearing tree that doled out communities in their balance diet. One day the villagers
held a gathering and tackled what are they going to called their place., one elderly
suggested Impogotan, (to show bravery because of the legendary story that their
tribe leader Pintason beheaded another tribe leader in creek Giob) another
suggested Kagangan because of numerous presence of Kagang (similar to a crab
that inhabited in fresh water) another suggested Tuganghin ( because of the Tree
that helped them in most every aspect of their lives). Each voted and unanimously
agreed for the name Tuganghin.
As time passed by, the name Tuganghin changed to TAGANGHIN named after the
creek.
