Following the footsteps


of Mickey Mouse series,
a series of musical
shorts titled,
Silly Symphonies
was released in 1929.
Through Silly
Symphonies, Disney
would also create his
most successful cartoon
short of all time,
The Three Little Pigs,
in 1933.
Snow White and the Seven
Dwarfs
1934–1937

Seven Dwarfs in a scene from the

Pinocchio
1940

The film is about a wooden puppet named Pinocchio being brought


to life by a blue fairy, who tells him he can become a real boy if he
proves himself "brave, truthful, and unselfish".

Beauty is "Princess Aurora", in this film,
as it was in the original Tchaikovsky
