THE PRESENTATION PROCESS
Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place, person or group to another.
Every communication involves (at least) one sender, a message and a recipient. This may sound simple, but
communication is actually a very complex subject.
The transmission of the message from sender to recipient can be affected by a huge range of things. These include our
emotions, the cultural situation, the medium used to communicate, and even our location. The complexity is why
good communication skills are considered so desirable by employers around the world: accurate, effective and
unambiguous communication is actually extremely hard.

The Communication Process

A message or communication is sent by the sender through a communication channel to a receiver, or to multiple
receivers.
The sender must encode the message (the information being conveyed) into a form that is appropriate to the
communication channel, and the receiver(s) then decodes the message to understand its meaning and significance.

CATEGORIES OF
COMMUNICATION
Non-Verbal Communication : When we talk about ‘communication’,
we often mean ‘what we say’: the words that we use. Non-verbal
communication includes facial expressions, the tone and pitch of the
voice, gestures displayed through body language (kinesics) and the
physical distance between the communicators (proxemics).

Verbal communication: it is one that is expressed through words, this

can be by telephone, radio or face to face.

Visualizations: it is also a common form of communication, it is

expressed through logos, maps, graphs, tables and other
visualizations that convey a message
Writing Skills: Writing skills are an important part of communication.
Good writing skills allow you to communicate your message with
clarity and ease to a far larger audience than through face-to-face or
telephone conversations. As just one example, a spelling mistake on a
commercial web page may cause potential customers to doubt the
credibility of the website and the organization.

Visualizations:  graphs and charts , maps, logos and other

visualizations
can all communicate messages.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MASS MEDIA IN
COMMUNICATION
The main purpose of the media is precisely to communicate objectively, but depending on their type of ideology they
can specialize in: informing, educating, transmitting, entertaining, forming opinions, teaching, controlling, etc. Positive

A DAYS.
Social networks allow us to create a life and develop it. They
allow us to interact with people who may be in the other part of
the planet, they allow us to connect, create content, share it and
spread it. Other advantages of social networks are:

Improves brand visibility: Image is very important for

companies. Through the Internet, businesses can cross barriers
and create a recognizable brand anywhere in the world.

Dissemination of company content: Content is an essential part

of the business strategy because visits to the firm's page increase
and, therefore, potential clients also increase.

Measure marketing actions: An intervention is carried out, for

example, an advertising campaign, and almost immediately the
reactions of users towards that action are known.
