INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PRESENTATION OF NPT MODULES.

The NPT TRAINING MODULES are in MICROSOFT POWERPOINT XP, and will RUN DIRECT FROM CD.

The training modules contain HYPERLINKS, which allow ALL FILES to run from one file, - ‘NPT01 MAIN MENU’.
THE LAST SLIDE in each module has HYPERLINKS which return to NPT01 MAIN MENU, ( and/or other associated files).

USING THE HYPERLINKS FOR A PRESENTATION SHOW

OPEN ONE FILE ONLY, called “NPT01 MAIN MENU”. Double click once to OPEN PRESENTATION.

In 'SLIDE SHOW' mode, move the cursor to the RED FILE BUTTON you wish to open, wait for the cursor arrow to change
into a 'HAND' sign, click once to open. After completion of each module, the LAST SLIDE has a HYPERLINK button to
return you to the MAIN MENU, and other RELATED modules.

AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATORS (AVR) TYPES SX, SA and MX, MA

In the ‘NPT01 MAIN MENU’ file, there are two AVR HYPERLINK buttons, for AVR types SX,SA, or MX,MA.
Open the AVR PRESENTATION required, (SX,SA or MX,MA), then browse the file for the AVR TYPE required.
To access AVR CONTROLS & CONNECTIONS presentations, move the cursor onto the LABEL next to the AVR control or
connection you wish to open. Wait for the cursor arrow to change into a 'HAND' sign, mouse-click once to open. After
completion of each CONTROL or CONNECTION file, the LAST SLIDE in the presentation has a HYPERLINK to return you
to the AVRTYPE being presented.

USEFUL TIPS FOR PRESENTATIONS

To SHORTCUT to the LAST SLIDE IN ANY PRESENTATION, press the ‘END’ key on your KEYBOARD.
During short breaks, press key ‘B’ for BLACK screen, or ‘W ’ for WHITE SCREEN. REPEAT SAME KEY to return to show.
To NAVIGATE within the PRESENTATION , use the KEYBOARD ARROWS, <<
LEFT OR UP, >>
RIGHT OR DOWN.
To change the CURSOR to ARROW or PEN while in SLIDE SHOW MODE, RIGHT CLICK ON MOUSE.
