Bandung is the capital of the province of
West Java, Indonesia and is the third
largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and
Surabaya. In terms of density, this city
is the second most populous city in
Indonesia after Jakarta with a density of
15,051/km²
What regency is bandung city?

Administratively, this basin is located in


five Regency/City administrative areas,
namely Bandung City, Bandung
Regency, West Bandung Regency,
Cimahi City, and 5 sub-districts which
are included in Sumedang Regency
Why is it called Bandung?

The name Bandung comes from the


word "dam" or "dam". Long ago, the
Citarum River was dammed by lava

Nasi Kalong is one of the other cheap
and delicious Bandung culinary that you
can try. This food is made from brown
rice which is then cooked with kluwek

This food, which has become very
popular in recent years, is made from
crackers cooked using a sauce with a
distinctive kencur aroma. And there are

sausage, mushrooms and others.

The typical food of Bandung which is
also famous is batagor which is
juxtaposed with dumplings.
The batagor recipe comes from a
mixture of fish and starch added with
peanut sauce and lime juice.

Bandros is a typical Bandung food made
from a mixture of rice flour and coconut
milk cooked on a concave mold.
Then, when the cake dough is still half-
baked, you eat it with a sprinkling of
grated coconut on it while waiting for it
to be cooked and ready to be served.
The taste is savory and salty which is
the hallmark of this Bandung specialty.
