Proper Use of
Cleaning Materials
- A big part of maintaining a computer
is keeping it clean.
- Including exterior as well as the interior of
the casing.
- Excess heat due to excessive dust may
cause the CPU and other hardware to fail.
 A lint-free cloth damped with distilled
water may be used to wipe away sticky
dust.
 Water is a great cleaning agent.
 The best way to remove dust from the
interior of a computer is to use a small
vacuum cleaner.
 Always switch off the computer first
before cleaning.
Case Cleaning
- Computer case is ideally cleaned with a
lint-free cloth damped with distilled water
to wipe away sticky dust.
Keyboard Cleaning
- Using air-blower.
- Using soft cloth.
- Using soft brush.
Screen and Monitor Cleaning
- Computer monitor is ideally cleaned with
a lint-free cloth damped with sprayed or
small amount of water on it.
Mouse Cleaning
- Soft cloth with small amount of water on
it.
