DATA ANALYSIS

• In this project we analyze qualitative data

• Data analysis is a process of ordering, categorizing, manipulating
and summarizing to obtain answers to research questions
• Measures of Central tendency, that is mean , median , mode are
used to analyze data
• Example ; during pretest all athletes scored between 2-3in
shooting
• During training results show that athletes scored between 4-5 in
shooting
• Post test results shows that athletes scored between 6-7 in
shooting
 Data interpretation
• Process of reviewing data through some predefined processes which
will help assign meaning to the data and arrive at relevant conclusion
• It involves taking the result of data analysis, making inferences on the
relations studied and using them to draw conclusions.s
• Example ; data collected during pretest shows that athletes were
performing below standard as a result the school team would be
number last
• During training results indicate that athletes were improving this is
because of the new training methods, use of appropriate attire and
standard pitch
• Post training results show that athletes were adapting to new training
methods and were responding positively to the training and also the
new techniques employed were effective
