Project Description

A. Background of the Project

We can see that the way around Ascot has waste lying
everywhere, due to undisciplined people who just throw trash in
the sidewalks, and Ascot Campus covered area.
Plastic bottles, Candy wrappers, Plastic bags, Bag of chips are
everywhere.

Benches, Tables, Doors, some of the walls, gates, post, chairs ,

and pots are vandalized so we also need to paint all these.
B. Justification of the Project

We conducted a survey that ASCOT Campus is faced with the

problem of improper waste disposal . Many college students are still
undisciplined when it comes in proper waste disposal. Even the other
civilians who just passes by in our campus.

That’s why this is the project we think that we needed to improve

Proper waste Disposal with Waste Recycling, and Painting.
C. Benefits derived from the project

The air is fresh when the environment is clean, when there is no rubbish lying
around and when everyone knows how to recycle and throw in the right bin.
Green symbolizes cleanliness, so we have to take care of environment
especially in our school.

The college students will know the importance of Proper Waste Disposal and
Waste recycling.

This project will benefits by the Students,Teachers, and Civilians who come’s
to school.
D. Coverage

The project will be perform by the CWTS students under HTM

department that are subdivided into three group every sections.

Every areas in the Aurora State College of Technology will be the target
areas of CWTS students to clean.
Methodology

1.Gather cleaning materials (brooms, garbage bags, gloves, paints, duspan ,etc.)
2. Conduct a needs assessment on the cleanliness of the campus. The most effective method
to maintain cleanliness in school is to divide and conquer. Section off the areas and make a
cleaning plan for each section by area.
3. There should be larger trash cans in hallways, toilets, gyms, school entrances and exits,
and the schoolyard. When you put garbage cans everywhere, they'll be hard to ignore, and
there will be much fewer trash on the floor.
4. Make a detailed cleaning plan. You should have a schedule for each section, along with the
time alotted for cleaning, the supplies needed, and the students working on it. When
everyone knows what they should be doing and when, it's easier to maintain the
environment clean.
5. Repaint. These are the benches, walls, pedestrians, and all the facilities needed to be
repainted.
6. Raise Awareness With Students,We need to raise awareness with the people that work and
study in the building. Every single person should take care of the place by doing small
things that mean a lot.
7. You can also organize recycling and cleaning events, where CWTS students of Hospitality
and Tourism Management will work together on beautifying the space.
