CIRCLE:

The set of points in a plane which are

at a constant distance 'r' ( ≥ 0 ) from a

fixed point C is called a circle .

The fixed point C is called the centre of the circle.

The constant distance 'r' is called the radius of the circle


1. Centre – radius form of a circle :
The equation of the circle with centre at C(h,k) and radius r is
( x- h )2 + ( y – k )2 = r2
center=(h,k)
radius=r
