looking at the movement of the clock’s hand.

rectilinear – moving in a straight line
circular – having the form of a circle
periodic – appearing or occurring at intervals

rolling – moving by turning over and over

1. Rectilinear Motion – the movement of an


object along a straight line

2. Circular Motion – the movement of an


object around a fixed point such that its
distance from the center remains the same

after definite time intervals

4.Rolling Motion – the motion which is a combination


of rectilinear motion and circular motion
