* Uzbekistan Republic is one of the four Republics of
Central Asia. Uzbekistan is situated between the Amu
Darya and Syr Darya,the greatest Asian rivers. It is the
region of flat- lands, mountains and deserts. The territory
of the Republic covers 447,4 thousand square kilometers
and is larger than Great Britain or Italy. Uzbekistan borders
on Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan and Turkmenia. In the
South Uzbekistan borders on Afghanistan. The Republic
consists of 12 regions and the Karakalpak Republic. There
are about 80 towns and 86 settlements of urban type here.
• Since ancient times, the peoples of Central Asia have
developed a tradition that when Muslims meet, they
must greet each other, even if they are not friends and
even if there is hostile relations between them. It was
considered good manners to respond to every greeting.
Uzbek national dress
* The henational male Uzbek costume consisted of an
upper and lower robe tied with a scarf or shawls, wide
kuilak shirts, ishton pants, boots made of thin leather and
a skullcap headdress.
* Outerwear for women, as well as for men, is a mursak
robe. The robe was made long and loose like a tunic. For
the summer it was light, and for the winter it was made
on cotton wool. By the 19th century, a replenishment
was outlined in the wardrobe of women - a camisole,
which was called a camiso, at the same time a female
zhelktkanimcha appeared
• Communicating with people of different cultures,
you can learn a lot of interesting things: from recipes
for delicious dishes to knowledge of the psychology
of different nations.
•  Today Uzbekistan is an industrial country, the
wealth of which is its people.
