can solve the problem, you must truly understand
what it is.
• After you have the problem defined, it leads you
through analyzing data you gather about the
process, determining the root cause of the
problem, and identifying possible solutions to
the problem.

Unhygienic Comfort Rooms
Definition
One of the major in our school is the unhygienic
comfort room. Students and staffs are using school
toilet daily. School comfort rooms are disheveled
because of the foul smell and unappealing sight of it
to the eyes of students, staffs, personnel and guests.
Clean Toilets reflect to the school's hygienic standard.
Cause
1) Improper use of toilets
2) Insufficient flushing of toilets
3) Lack of sanitary paraphernalia such as soaps and
tissues
4) Slippery floors
5) Not enough personnel for maintenance
Effect
1) Smelly and dirty washroom
2) leadsto foul stench to comfort room
3) Leads to negligence to use since it is absent
4) May result to accidents
5) Toilets'mirrors and source of water remain
unattended.
Solution
We must start changing ourselves to be hygienic and
organize. Give importance to rhe facilities through
flashing the toilet bowls after using, never leave
sanitary materials and throw it in the proper trash
bin. School also needs more manpower to maintain
the cleanliness and provide sanitary materials.

Example of Problem/Solution
• Several students recieve poor grades on writing
assignments, not because they lack the ability to
communicate, but because thay can not seem to
manage their time when it comes to a large project.
They do not know where to begin, and therefore
put things off until the last minute. To solve this
problem, students need to develop a timeline for
conpleting the project. If they divide the
assignment into manageable "chunks" or parts and
then set a schedule for completing each part, they
will be able to finish
the entire subject before the deadline. Without the
pressure of not knowing where to begin, tge students
will be able to focus on the assignment and
communicate their ideas effectively.
Problem/Solution Example
In most parts of the world, there are not as many
crocodiles as there used to be. This is a problem
because crocodile are becoming endangered and
also crocodiles are necessary to the balance of
nature. Many crocodiles have died because people
dried up the swamps and marshes where the
crocodiles live. Poachers have also contributed to the
dilemma as crocodiles have been desired for their
strong, smooth, leathery skins. In order to preserve
this mighty creatures, people must take care of the
crocodiles'environment and help put a stop to the
needless shooting of these animals.
