What is an Environmental Consultant?
An environmental consultant is an experienced professional who uses their understanding of
environmental policies, sustainability methods and occupational health and safety guidelines to provide
effective solutions to businesses and construction companies.

Role of a Environment Consultant


• Meet with clients to determine their needs.
 Take tours of workspaces, construction sites, energy plants or manufacturing facilities to assess
working conditions and environmental factors.
 Make recommendations about construction projects based on potential risks to the environment.
 Review environmental impact reports to aid decision-making.
 Help clients get environmental permits so they can conduct building projects within guidelines.
 Assist clients with reacting to environmental incidents like contamination spills and other situations
that require clean-up projects.
 Maintain frequent communications with previous clients to provide additional guidance when
necessary.
 Oversee a team of employees that the client assigns to environmental efforts at their company.
 Read scientific reports and environmental studies to enhance their knowledge of local ecosystems,
environmental practices and available technologies.

Conclusion
Detail of Remediation Plan, Natural Resource Augmentation Plan and Community Resource Augmentation Plan
along with budget and action plan will be given. Calculation of bank guarantee amount as per Notification No. S.O.
804(E), dated shall be Rs. - (after approval of EAC, MoEFCC) as per details given here-in-above. The Bank
guarantee shall be given for a period of 3 years, with the PCB which will be released after successful
implementation of the remediation plan and natural and community resource augmentation plan and after
recommendation by Regional Office of the Ministry.
