Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine the contributions of Printed Learning Materials to the Academic
Performances of 1st Year Criminology students of University of Eastern Pangasinan.
Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the participants in terms of?
a. age
b. Sex
c. socio-economic status
d. student’s academic status
2. What are the effects of printed learning materials on the academic performance of the students?
3. How does Printed learning modules contributes in the academic performance of the students?
a. Positive Effects
b. Negative Effects
4. Is there a significant difference in the academic performance of students having the printed
learning modules?

Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine the factors that influences the discipline of students in their future on-the-job training.
Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
1.What is the profile of the participants in terms of?
a. Age
b. Sex
c. Student’s academic status, and
2. What are the factors associated with discipline among Criminology students when grouped as to variable? a. School Environment
b. Home Environment
c. Peer Groups
3. What are the common disciplinary problems of the criminology students in the school?
4. What is the role of discipline of students in the future on-the-job training?
5. Is there a significant effect of criminology students’ discipline in the future on-the-job training?

Statement of the Problem
In general, this study was conducted to compare the index crime rate and non-index crime rate in
Binalonan, Pangasinan.
Specifically, this sought answers to the following research problems:
1. What is the crime situation in Binalonan, Pangasinan in terms of:
1.1 Index Crime
1.2 Non-Index Crime
2. Who usually commit index and non-index crime in Binalonan, Pangasinan in terms of:
2.1. Gender
2.2. Age
3. What type of non-index crimes are recorded by the police officers in Binalonan from 2020-2022?
4. What are the rates of index crimes and non-index crimes in Binalonan, Pangasinan from 2020-2022?
5. Is there significant difference in the rates of index crimes and non-index crimes in Binalonan,
Pangasinan from the year 2020-2022?
