INTRODUCTION

A steam condenser is a closed vessel heat exchanger

that is used to convert low-pressure steam into water. The
pressure inside a steam condenser is kept below
atmospheric pressure to increase efficiency

 1.The condensed steam, DM plant

from the condenser is used
as feed water for boiler. deaerator
Using the condensate as feed
for boiler reduces the cost of
the power generation as the
condensate is supplied at boiler  Turbine
high pressure to the boiler
and it reduces the capacity of
the feed water cleaning

2.The efficiency of the thermal
power plant increases as the
enthalpy drop increases by
increasing the vacuum in the
condenser.
In order to attain maximum work,
according to Carnot principle, the
heat must be supplied at Maximum
pressure and temperature and
should be rejected at Minimum
pressure and temperature.
